Now that the PALM registration rush has finished, it is time to start thinking about preparing for the ride itself.
To start, here again is the link to the Traffic 101 on-line course that contains most of the material that I will be covering during the PALM evening classes: http://www.bikeed.org
This free course is endorsed by the LAB and will give you the basics of safe cycling.
I plan on posting links to various bike safety and maintenance videos over the next few months. If you have any requests for a particular aspect of cycling, please let me know.

Awesome post. Do you mind if I ask what your source is for this information?
One great resource is the League of American Cyclists (http://www.bikeleague.org/). Also, there is the League of Michigan Cyclists (http://www.lmb.org).
The online Traffic 101 class (http://www.bikeed.org), in a partnership bewteen the city of Houston and the League of American Cyclists, was developed by League Certifies Instructors to teach cyclists the classroom portion of the League Traffic 101 class.
Most, if not all, the videos, I for which I will be posting links, are from YouTube. As an LCI myself, I will be selecting videos that follow the teachings of the League education programs.
Again, if you have a particular questions about any aspect of cycling, equipment, training, or bike maintenance, let me know. I will either direct you to a web site, post a video link, or answer myself.
